Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1969. The deep set silver slate dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo and black lettering and barely any marks. It has wide steel hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double at 12 o’clock. The black baton hands are in excellent condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the weekday and the date, of which the date can be quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The 14K solid white gold fluted bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The oversized stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs has a brushed face and polished sides and is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly on the face towards the lugs but also on the right case side along the sharp edges. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean Constellation medallion at its center and is in fine condition with light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original integrated stainless steel bracelet is in very fine visual condition with light stretching. It is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade caliber 751 beats strongly and accurately to within about +8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This rare model with the integrated bracelet and that wonderful dial looks spectacular on the wrist. This is a perfect daily driver that is also a great conversation starter.
