Here is a fabulous, all original Omega solid gold dress watch from 1964. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo and golden strip hour markers, wider markers at the poles. There are a few tiny spots around the dial, perhaps most notable at around the 5 o’clock hour marker. The golden baton hands are in very fine condition. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The solid 18K gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most prominent at around 7 and 10 o’clock. The slim solid 18K gold case with the original crown and straight lugs is in fine condition with light overall wear, mostly at the lugs but also with a few marks on the case sides. The solid 18K gold case back is in fine condition, with a few nicks and scratches. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original gold plated Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 610 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

As far as vintage dress watches go, this is a real keeper. The slim gold case oozes style and adds to any vintage collection. It is a wonderful example of Omega’s very clean and uncluttered design combined with their fantastic engineering.
