Here is a fabulous and rare, fully original Jaeger-LeCoultre Wrist Alarm from 1950. The two tone dial is in fine condition. The chapter ring has the LeCoultre logo at 12 o’clock, Arabic numerals at the poles and golden bar hour markers in between. Along the inner dial is a minute track with blue markings for the minutes and lume dots for each hour. The silver inner rotatable alarm dial has a blue triange indicating the set alarm time. It shows some discoloration at the opposite side of the arrow. The golden sword hands are in fine condition with lumed tips. The seconds hand is blued.

The alarm is set with the top crown. Winding the spring for the alarm is done by rotating the crown while fully depressed. By pulling the crown out one can rotate the inner dial to set the arrow at the desired alarm time. When the set time is reached the alarm buzzes loudly for about 15-20 seconds when fully wound. When the crown is in the outer position the alarm does not ring.

The 10K gold filled medium sized case with the two original crowns and elegant lugs is in very fine condition, with light overall wear. The 10K gold filled case back is in fine condition with a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, LeCoultre’s high grade 4891 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
