Here is a gorgeous and unusual LeCoultre Memovox from 1969. The silver sunburst outer dial has a black script LeCoultre logo and golden block hour markers at the poles with ridged block hour markers in between. At the inner edge of the outer dial is a minute track with lume stripes for each hour. The inner silver sunburst dial has a lume filled golden triangle showing the set alarm time and the Memovox logo. The inner dial can be rotated with the upper crown to set the alarm. The golden ridged baton hands are in very fine condition with the original lume intact albeit somewhat degraded.

The alarm is set with the top crown. Winding the spring for the alarm is done by rotating the crown while fully depressed. By pulling the crown out one can rotate the inner dial to set the arrow at the desired alarm time. When the set time is reached the alarm buzzes loudly for about 15-20 seconds when fully wound. When the crown is in the outer position the alarm does not ring.

The 14K solid gold fluted bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear. The stainless steel case with long, elegantly curved lugs and what looks like replacement crowns is in fine condition, showing some overall wear, perhaps most notably on the upper right lug and the case sides. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a few notable marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, LeCoultre’s high grade 911 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
