Here is a stunning, fully original LeCoultre Memovox from 1968 in a very large size for the era. The silver dial is in very fine condition, with a separate chapter ring and inner dial. The silver sunburst chapter ring is in very fine condition, with a golden JLC logo at 12 o’clock and faceted golden strip hour markers. At 6 and 9 o’clock there are star shaped hour markers which wonderfully reflect the light. There are a few tiny marks at around 12 and 1 o’clock. Along the inner rim of the chapter ring is a minute track with lume dots at the hours and tiny golden spheres for the minutes. The inner silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a couple of tiny marks. It has a lume filled golden triangle with the word “Memovox” underneath, showing the alarm position. It rotates to accurately set the alarm. The golden baton hands are in very fine condition with the original lume intact and some overall wear.

The alarm is set with the top crown. Winding the spring for the alarm is done by rotating the crown while fully depressed. By pulling the crown out one can rotate the inner dial to set the arrow at the desired alarm time. When the set time is reached the alarm buzzes loudly for about 15-20 seconds when fully wound. When the crown is in the outer position the alarm does not ring.

The solid 14k gold case with short, straight lugs and the original crowns is in very fine condition, with light overall wear on both the face and sides. The solid 14K gold case back is in fine condition with some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, LeCoultre’s high grade K825 bumper automatic movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
