Here is a wonderful, all original King Seiko 56KS Hi-Beat from 1971. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with steel Seiko and KS logos and railroad style steel hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. The faceted dauphine hands have the characteristic black center stripe and are in fine condition, with some wear towards their roots.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent at around 12 o’clock. The large stainless case with the original KS crown and sloping lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly towards the lugs and along the sharp edges of the case. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved gold KS medallion and is in very fine condition.

The original stainless steel bracelet is in very fine visual condition, showing a few marks and some stretching. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for these bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Seiko’s high grade 5621A movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in August 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
