Here is a fabulous, all original 2^nd generation King Seiko from 1968. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Seiko logo and the script KS logo below the dial center. It has faceted black polished steel hour markers, double markers at 12 o’clock. The faceted dauphine hands are in very fine condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some marks of wear throughout. The stainless steel case with the original crown and chunky, faceted lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notably at the outside of the upper left lug and on the inside of the lower left lug. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved gold Seiko medallion and is in fine condition with some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Seiko’s high grade 4402A movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
