Here is a wonderful IWC Yacht Club from 1966. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel IWC block logo and the script IWC logo underneath. It has steel bar hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock, with the characteristic steel spheres for the minutes. The baton hands with the original lume and black contrast are in very fine condition. The window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 23:45 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The wide stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, most notably a couple of nicks at around 9 and 10 o’clock. The C shaped stainless steel case with what seems to be a replacement crown is in fine condition with a few marks on the face and on the sides, most notable a couple of nicks on the left side. The stainless steel case back has a circularly brushed center and a polished slope and is in fine condition with some marks and scratches. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, IWC’s superb 8541B movement with the Pellaton winding system beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
