Here is a wonderful IWC Yacht Club from 1968. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel IWC block logo and the script IWC logo below. It has steel bar hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double at 12 o’clock, with the characteristic steel spheres for minutes. There is some discoloration around the center of the dial, which isn’t very notable to the naked eye. The baton hands with the original lume and black contrast are in fine condition, with some wear visible under magnification. The hack stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out to time-setting mode, to facilitate more accurate time setting.

The wide stainless steel bezel is in good condition, with some overall wear in the shape of small nicks and scratches, perhaps most pronounced at its upper half. The C shaped stainless steel case is in fine condition, with a brushed face and brushed sides, showing some overall wear on both sides and at the lugs, perhaps most noticeable at the upper right lug. The stainless steel case back with a radially brushed center and a polished rim is in good condition with some overall wear and marks.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, IWC’s superb 854 movement with the Pellaton winding system beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2023 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
