Here is a fabulous, all original ultra-slim IWC dress watch from 1971 in an unusual reference. The silver sunburst dial has taken on a gentle and even cream patina and is in very fine condition, with the block IWC logo and the script logo below it. It has faceted steel bar hour markers, double at the poles. Upon close scrutiny, some of the hour markers show some wear, perhaps most notably at 9 o’clock. The sword hands are in very fine condition.

The C-shape ultra slim stainless steel case with the original unsigned crown and long lugs is in very fine condition, with a brushed face and polished sides showing only light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original stainless steel Milanese bracelet is in very fine condition, showing little stretching and only light overall wear. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as links cannot be added to this bracelet.

Inside the watch, IWC’s superb 403 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
