Here is a fabulous, all original IWC dress watch from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel IWC block logo and the script logo underneath. It has faceted steel bar hour markers with pointed tips, twin markers at 12 o’clock. The dauphine hands are in very fine condition. The hack stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out to time-setting mode, to facilitate more accurate time setting. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 23:45 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The stainless steel watch face/bezel is in fine condition, with some wear throughout. The stainless steel case with the original fish crown and faceted heavy lugs is in fine condition, with some wear on both the lugs and the sides. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a radially brushed center and a polished rim. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original IWC Milanese steel bracelet is in very fine condition, with little stretching and light overall wear, mostly at the fold clasp. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist.

Inside the watch, IWC’s superb 8541B movement with the Pellaton winding system beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
