Here is a fabulous, all original IWC dress watch from 1967. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a script IWC and steel bar hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends, double at 12 o’clock. In between the hour markers are the characteristic steel spheres for the minutes. There is some wear at the edge of the dial at around 10 o’clock, which is less visible to the naked eye than in close-up photos. The baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition. The hack stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out to time-setting mode, to facilitate more accurate time setting.

The stainless steel watch face/bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, most notable at around 7 and 9 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original fish crown and straight lugs is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The case back is in very fine condition, with a brushed center and a polished rim. The case has been refinished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original IWC buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, IWC’s superb 854 movement with the Pellaton winding system beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in August 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
