Here is a stunning, all original IWC dress watch from 1973. The blue sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a white IWC script logo and white Roman numeral hour markers. There is a scatter of tiny spots around the dial, a mark at around 12 o’clock and slight wear at the edge of the dial at around 3 o’clock. The white stick hands are in very fine condition. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand in order to keep the profile slim.

The stainless steel watch face/bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly towards the lugs. The stainless steel case with the original crown and integrated lugs is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, most notably on the outside of the upper lugs. The case back has a brushed pattern and is in fine condition with a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original IWC bracelet is in very fine condition, tight and solid with little overall wear. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for these bracelets is very difficult.

Inside the watch, IWC’s high grade caliber 423 beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in August 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
