Here is a fabulous, all original IWC Portofino from 1996. The white dial is in excellent condition, with black lettering and barely any marks. It has steel strip hour markers, twin markers at 12 o’clock. The fils hands are in very fine condition. When the crown is pulled out to set the time or date, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely. The original sapphire crystal is in very fine condition. The black framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel case with the original crown and slim, elegant lugs is in fine condition, with some overall wear, most notably around the crystal at around 2, 3 and 5 o’clock and also with a few marks on the right case side and at the lugs. The screwed down case back is in very fine condition with a brushed center and polished slope showing light overall wear.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original IWC buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, IWC’s version of the high grade ETA 2892-2 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
