Here is a fabulous, all original IWC from 1972 in a slim version. The grey dial is in very fine condition, with a black script IWC logo and steel strip hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. The fils hands are in fine condition with the seconds hand showing some staining. The window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. This function should only be used with the hands at the bottom half of the dial.

The slim stainless steel case with the original fish crown and stub lugs is in fine condition, with some overall wear, perhaps most prominently at the outside of the upper right lug. The brushed stainless steel case back is in fine condition  with some wear.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original IWC buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, IWC’s high grade caliber 3254 (based on the JLC caliber 889), beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
