Here is a stunning and rare, all original Eterna dress watch from 1955 in a very large size for the era. The black gilt dial is in very fine condition, with a gold script Eterna logo and golden lettering. It has golden Arabic numeral hour markers at the poles and faceted golden bar hour markers in between. The golden dauphine hands are in fine condition with slight wear visible under close scrutiny.

The solid 14K yellow gold bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear. The gold capped case with the original crown and long, elegant lugs is in fine condition, showing a few marks of wear throughout and some discoloration to the gold. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a brushed center and some overall wear.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Eterna’s high grade 852U movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
