The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 8 o’clock. The stainless steel case with straight lugs and the original blue cabochon crown is in very fine condition with some overall wear, mostly at the lugs but also a mark on the left case side. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a brushed finish and a few notable scratches. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Baume & Mercier’s version of the legendary Peseux 7001 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
