Here is a fabulous and rare Ulysse Nardin dress watch from 1962. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a golden anchor logo and golden wedge hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends, twin markers at the poles. The golden dauphine hands have the original lume intact and are in very fine condition with light wear visible upon close inspection. The seconds hand has a lovely leaf shaped counterweight. At 3 o’clock, the golden framed window displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 20:30 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The slim gold capped case is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notably a couple of nicks and marks along the “bezel” at 5, 9 and 10 o’clock and at the lower right lug. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean UN and waterproof engraving. It shows a few scratches around the rim. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Ulysse Nardin’s high grade N74 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
