Here is a fabulous, all original Ulysse Nardin from 1968 in a very large size for the era. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a steel anchor logo and faceted steel bar hour markers with black contrast, double markers at the poles. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial, none of which are really visible to the naked eye. The tapered baton hands are in fine condition with the original black contrast. The cyclops eye in the original plexiglass crystal at 3 o’clock shows the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 20:30 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The very wide stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notably around 2, 4 and 9 o’clock. The large stainless steel case with the original crown and heavy batman lugs is in very fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced a mark at the tip of the top left lug. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved gold UN anchor medallion and some wear and staining. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original UN buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Ulysse Nardin’s high grade N11HB movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
