Here is a fabulous, all original Tudor Prince Oysterdate from 1986. The silver linen dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Tudor shield logo at 12 o’clock and black lettering. It has steel strip hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. Under magnification, slight degradation around some of the lume dots can be found. The faceted baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition with some degradation to the lume. At 3 o’clock, the cyclops eye displays the quick-set date. When the crown is pulled out to set the time or date, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely.

The fluted solid 14K white gold bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original screw down Rolex crown is in very fine condition, with a radially brushed face and polished sides. It shows a few small throughout, most notably on right case side. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in fine condition with a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of ETA’s high grade 2824 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in January 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This is one of the finest Prince Oysterdates we have seen for a while, with a pretty much impeccable dial and overall condition. It looks absolutely fabulous on the wrist and it will serve its next lucky owner well for many years to come.
