Here is a stunning, all original full set Rolex Datejust Thunderbird from 1991. The blue dial is in excellent condition, with a golden Rolex crown at 12 o’clock and barely any marks. It has faceted golden hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. The faceted golden baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition, with the original lume intact. The hack feature stops the watch when the crown is pulled out so the time can be set accurately. The 3 o’clock window with the cyclops eye displays the quick-set date, which should only be used with the hands at the bottom of the dial.

The thick 18K yellow gold engine turned bezel with large Arabic numerals is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case has a radially brushed face and polished sides, with the original gold screw-down crown working as it should. It is in very fine condition, with only very light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with just a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original two tone Jubilee bracelet is in very fine visual condition but shows some stretching. It is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Rolex’s high grade 3135 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
