Here is a fabulous, all original Rolex Oysterdate Precision from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with the Rolex crown at 12 o’clock and barely any marks. It has faceted steel hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends, wider markers at 6 and 9 o’clock. The baton hands with the original lume are in fine condition, with some degradation to the lume. At 3 o’clock, the Cyclops eye displays the manually set date.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case has a radially brushed face and polished sides and is in very fine condition, with just a few marks at both the lugs and the sides. The original Rolex crown screws down as it should. The case back has the Oyster ridges and is in fine condition with a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original stainless steel Oyster bracelet is in very fine condition with little stretching and light overall wear. It is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for older bracelets can be very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Rolex’s high grade 1225 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Manual winding Rolex’s are less common nowadays and this unpolished one is a real find. It has that beautifully aged impression that vintage collectors love and it will add to any watch collection.
