Here is a fantastic, all original Speedmaster Racing Schumacher Edition from 1996. The bright red dial is in very fine condition, with a white Omega logo and lettering and just a few tiny marks. It has a checkered flag style chapter ring and the hours are marked with yellow lume stripes on the dial. The dial has three sub-dials; the 3 o'clock sub-dial shows the running seconds, the 6 o'clock sub-dial shows the chronograph hour counter, and the 9 o'clock sub-dial shows the chronograph minute counter. The white baton hour and minute hands have red paint at the base and are in very fine condition, with the same lume as the hour markers. The running seconds hand is also white while all chronograph hands including the center sweep seconds hand are painted yellow.

The stainless steel bezel has a black inlay tachymeter scale and is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case is in very fine condition, with a brushed face and sides and a polished bevel leading into the beautiful "Speedmaster" bombe lugs. The case back has a crisp and clean hippocampus engraving and is in very fine condition with just a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on a red leather strap with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega's 1141 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Speedmaster was originally made for car racing and the Schumacher editions stand out with their bold colors and racing themed dials. This is a wonderful watch for your regular rotation and a great conversation starter.
