Here is a wonderful and fully original Omega Speedmaster Automatic from 1993. The black dial is in excellent condition, with a white Omega logo and lettering and barely any marks. It has three silver subdials at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock. These respectively display the hour counter, running seconds and minute counter. The dial has yellow lume strip hour markers with white painted stripes between them for minutes and seconds divisions. The white baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume intact. The window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel tachymetre bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent at around the 75-70 markings. The stainless steel case with the original crown and pushers and the beautiful bombe lugs that are a characteristic of the Speedmaster has brushed face and sides, with polished bevels. It is in fine condition with some overall wear along the sharp edges. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a crisp and clean hippocampus logo in its center and a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.                 

The original bracelet is in very fine condition, with little stretching and only light overall wear, mostly at the clasp. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1155 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in July 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
