Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Seamaster De Ville from 1963. The crosshair silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem. It has a scatter of tiny corrosion spots which are difficult to see with the naked eye but make the dial seem to sparkle. At the poles are beautiful steel wedge hour markers and in between are faceted steel strip hour markers. There is a tiny mark at the 9 o’clock hour marker and also at the edge of the dial at the 2 o’clock hour marker. The baton hands are in fair condition with some visible corrosion. The cyclops eye in the original plexiglass crystal magnifies the 3 o’clock date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most prominent at around 2 and 6 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and slightly spread lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean hippocampus logo and a few marks.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 562 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
