Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Seamaster De Ville from 1966. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem and faceted steel hour markers with black contrast, double markers at 12 o’clock. There is a tiny mark between the center of the dial and the date window and a small scatter of tiny corrosion spots at the bottom half of the dial. The baton hands are in fine condition with the original black contrast and lume intact. The cyclops in the original plexiglass magnifies the date at 3 o’clock, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original crown and slightly spread lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly at the lugs and in particular the bottom right lug. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean hippocampus logo and a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 562 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
