Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Seamaster De Ville from 1967. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem. It has faceted steel hour markers with black onyx inlay, double at 12 o’clock. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial, none of which are really visible to the naked eye. The baton hands are in very fine condition with the original black contrast intact. The cyclops eye at 3 o’clock in the original plexiglass crystal displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. Setting the date should always be done with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most prominent at around 8 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and slightly spread lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, most notable at the bottom lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean hippocampus logo and a few marks and scratches.

The original bead of rice bracelet is in very fine visual condition, with some stretching. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 565 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
