Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Seamaster “Türler” from 1969 in an oversized version. The silver sparkle dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo and faceted steel hour markers with the original black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, twin markers at 12 o’clock. The baton hands with the original black contrast and lume intact are in very fine condition. The date is displayed in the steel framed window at 3 o'clock and can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.  

The stainless steel bezel/watch face is in fine condition, with a few marks overall, perhaps most pronounced a nick at around 6 o’clock. The brushed stainless steel case with the original crown and curved batman lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent at the left case side and towards the upper left lug at the face of the watch. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean hippocampus logo at the center. It shows a few scratches and nicks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original stainless steel bracelet is in very fine visual condition with slight stretching and light overall wear. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 565 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The large size of this reference for the era combines with the wonderful dial to make this watch look fabulous on the wrist. This is a watch that will serve well as both a daily driver and as part of a regular rotation schedule.
