Here is a stunning, all original Omega Seamaster Chronometer from 1971. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and faceted steel hour markers with black contrast, twin markers at 12 o’clock. There is a small scatter of tiny wear spots around the upper half of the dial, none of which are really visible to the naked eye. The baton hands are in very fine condition with the original black contrast. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock shows the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The wide and imposing stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original crown and heavy lugs is in very fine condition, with a polished face and brushed sides, showing just a few small marks. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a well preserved hippocampus logo at its center and barely any marks. The case has been refinished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1011 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

We do not come across Chronometer versions of the Seamaster that often, and this version looks fabulous on the wrist with its fantastic condition and wonderful design. This is truly a watch you will love to have on your wrist.
