Here is a stunning and rare, all original Omega Seamaster Chronometer from 1967 in an oversized version. The radially brushed grey dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem and railroad style steel hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, wider marker at 12 o’clock. There are a few tiny marks around the dial, perhaps most notable around the 2 and 9 o’clock hour markers. The baton hands have the original black contrast and lume and are in fine condition with some wear. The cyclops eye in the original plexiglass crystal magnifies the 3 o’clock date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be done with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The wide stainless steel bezel has a subtle sunburst pattern and is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The bold stainless steel case with the original crown and heavy lugs is in fine condition, with a polished face and brushed sides, showing a few marks on the left case side and at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved hippocampus logo and a few small marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, perhaps the best watch movement ever made, Omega’s caliber 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
