Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation Pie Pan Chronometer from 1972. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has faceted steel bar hour markers with black contrast, double markers at 12 o’clock. There is slight discoloration around the dial center, which isn’t really visible to the naked eye. The dauphine hands with the original black contrast are in very fine condition. The cyclops eye in the original plexiglass crystal at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, such as at around 12, 5 and 8 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the characteristic dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly at lugs. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a well preserved Geneva observatory medallion and light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
