Here is a gorgeous and rare, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1962. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial has a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial which aren’t really visible to the naked eye but make the dial seem to sparkle. It has beautifully shaped golden arrow tail markers at the poles and golden bar hour markers in between, all with black onyx inlay. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again until the date changes. Repeat as necessary.

The solid 14K yellow gold bezel is in fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original crown and gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly at the outside of the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved gold Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 561 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
