Here is a gorgeous, all original Omega Pie Pan Constellation Chronometer from 1961. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. At the poles it has golden arrow tail hour markers with black onyx inlay and in between are faceted golden bar hour markers also with black onyx inlay. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial, none of which are individually visible but which give the dial that fantastic vintage look. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition, with the original black contrast intact.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most notable at around  12 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition with a few marks, both at the face and the outside of the lugs as well as a few marks on the case sides. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a crisp and clean gold Geneva observatory medallion and some wear.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original gold plated buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 551 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Pie Pan Constellations are in themselves highly sought after and this golden version is a real find. This watch looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
