Here is a gorgeous, all original Omega Pie Pan Constellation Chronometer from 1966. The golden sunburst Pie Pan dial has a golden Omega logo and emblem and is in very fine condition with barely any marks. At the poles it has golden arrow tail hour markers with black onyx inlay and in between are faceted golden bar hour markers also with black onyx inlay. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition, with the original black contrast intact. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most notable at around  6 to 7 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition with a few marks, mostly at both the face and the outside of the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a crisp and clean gold Geneva observatory medallion and some wear.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Pie Pan Constellations are in themselves highly sought after and this golden version is a real find. This watch looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
