Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Genève from 1969. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and steel strip hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original black contrast intact. The 3 o’clock steel framed window displays the date, which can be quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.
The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition, with only a few minor marks. The stainless steel case with the original crown and elegant straight lugs is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a brushed center and some marks.
The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 565 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
