Here is a fabulous, all original Omega De Ville Prestige from 1998. The silver dial is in very fine condition, with a guilloche center and edge and a radially brushed chapter ring. It has a steel Omega logo and steel strip hour markers with Roman numerals at the poles. The dauphine hands are in very fine condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 1 and 11 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and stub lugs is in very fine condition with just a few small marks, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with the De Ville medallion at the center of a brushed finish. It shows a few small marks. Note that for some reason, this reference has some very amateurish-looking engravings on the inside of the case back. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1108 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
