Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega De Ville Chronograph from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo and two sunken, radially brushed subdials. The 3 o’clock subdial shows the chronograph minute counter and the 9 o’clock crosshair subdial shows the running seconds. The dial has strip steel hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double marker at 12 o’clock. There is a small mark at around 9 o’clock in the left subdial and a few marks around some of the hour markers, none of which are visible to the naked eye. The chapter ring has a tachymeter scale and a track showing minutes, seconds and sub-seconds markings. The black baton hour and minute hands with the original lume intact are in fine condition. The window at the unusual 9 o’clock position shows the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 22:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.
The stainless steel case with heavy lugs and the original crown and pushers is in fine condition, with some overall wear, mostly towards the lugs but also on both case sides. The brushed stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The original stainless steel bead of rice bracelet is in very fine visual condition with some stretching and overall wear. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 930 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
The De Ville Chronograph with the caliber 930 was made in only about 10000 pieces and finding one in this condition is quite rare. It looks absolutely stunning on the wrist with its sporty yet elegant look and dress watch size and it is a watch that you will love to admire on your wrist.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
