Here is a wonderful and rare all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1960. The silver sunburst crosshair Pie Pan dial has taken on a beautiful champagne patina and is in fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. At the poles are beautiful arrow tail style hour markers while the other hour markers are faceted chevron shaped. There is a scuff just below the center of the dial. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition.

The solid 14K yellow gold bezel is in good condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notable at around 6 and 11 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and long, lovely gold capped drop shaped lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notable at the bottom lugs and on the right case side above the crown. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean gold Geneva observatory medallion and some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 551 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in July 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
