Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Pie Pan Chronometer from 1963. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has arrow tail shaped steel hour markers at the poles and faceted steel bar hour markers in between, all with lume dots at the outer ends. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial, none of which are visible to the naked eye but make it seem to sparkle. The dauphine hands with the original lume intact are in fine condition with some wear visible under magnification. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.
The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 1 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the characteristic dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, most pronounced at the lugs but also some small marks on each case side. The stainless steel case back has a slightly worn Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The original bead of rice bracelet is in fine visual condition with a few marks of wear especially on the double fold clasp and shows some stretching. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 561 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
The Pie Pan Constellation is perhaps the most iconic Omega ever, and the wonderful dial and original bracelet makes this one stand out. This is a watch that looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
