Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1963. The silver sunburst dial has taken on a wonderful patina and is in fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has faceted steel bar hour markers, double at 12 o’clock. The dauphine hands with the original black contrast are in fine condition with some wear visible under magnification. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The stainless steel bezel is in good condition with some overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 3 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the characteristic dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, most pronounced at the lugs but also some small marks on each case side. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Constellation series has delivered countless beautiful watches, and the wonderful patina on the dial makes this 1963 version stand out. This is a watch that looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
