Here is a stunning, all original Omega Constellation C Shape from 1973. The brushed golden dial is in excellent condition, with a golden Omega logo and emblem and barely any marks. It has faceted golden strip hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, wider marker at 12 o’clock. The baton hands with the original lume and black contrast are in very fine condition with slight wear visible under magnification. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the weekday and date. The weekday can be quick-set by turning the hands backwards and the date is quick-set with the crown pulled out to the middle position. Setting the date should only be done with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The ribbed 14K yellow gold bezel is in very fine condition with light overall wear. The gold capped C shape case with a radial finish and the original crown is in very fine condition with light overall wear, most pronounced on the left case side towards the upper lug. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean gold Geneva observatory medallion and is in very fine condition with onlny light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in very fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1021 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Constellation is one of the most recognizable and sought after vintage watches, and this one is a beautiful part of the series. It looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
