Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation C Shape from 1971. The brushed golden dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo and emblem and barely any marks. It has faceted golden hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, wider marker at 12 o’clock. The baton hands with the original lume and black contrast are in very fine condition. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. Quick-setting the date should only be done with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition, with a subtle sunburst pattern and light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 5 and 11 o’clock. The gold capped C shape case with the original crown is in fine condition, with a radial pattern on its face and brushed sides. It shows some overall wear, perhaps most notable a nick on the left case at around 8 o’clock along the edge and some wear towards the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved gold Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1011 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Gold capped Constellations are not very common to find and this one looks spectacular on the wrist. This is a watch that will add to any vintage collection and it is perfect for those special occasions.
