Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has steel wedged hour markers with black contrast. There are a few marks around the dial, such as between the 1 and 2 o’clock hour markers and inside of the 4 o’clock hour marker, as well as along the rim of the dial at around 3, 4, 8, 10 and 11 o’clock. Most of these marks are not really visible to the naked eye. The dauphine hands have the original black contrast intact and are in fine condition with some wear visible upon close scrutiny. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.
The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The slim stainless steel case with the original crown on a C shaped case is in fine condition. It has radial brushing on the face and brushed sides, separated by a polished bevel. It shows some overall wear both at the lugs and the sides. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with some overall wear, most notably a long but shallow scratch. It has a crisp and clean Geneva observatory medallion in a radially patterned center, showing only a few marks.
The genuine Omega stainless steel bracelet is in very fine visual condition with little stretching. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult.
