Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation C shape from 1971. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has steel strip hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at 12 o’clock. There is slight discoloration around the center of the dial, not really visible to the naked eye. The steel baton hands are in good condition, with the original lume and black contrast. The seconds hand in particular shows some corrosion. The cyclops eye over the steel framed window at 3 o’clock diplays the date, which can be semi-quick set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.
The stainless steel bezel has a subtle sunburst pattern and is in fine condition with light overall wear, most notable a partial crack at around 4 o’clock. The C shape stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in very fine condition, with a radial pattern on the face and brushed sides with a polished bevel separating them. It shows light overall wear, most notably on the face towards the lugs and along the left side bevel edge. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved steel Geneva observatory medallion and a scatter of small marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The original Omega brick wall steel bracelet is in fine condition, showing some stretching and light overall wear. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp. If desired, the watch can be delivered on a leather strap.
Inside the watch, perhaps the best movement ever made, Omega’s 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
Constellations are perhaps our very favorite series, with a very classic and timeless design. The C shape design adds a different dimension to the series, and the great condition of this watch makes it easy to love. This is a watch that fits well for those special occasions while also being a great part of a regular rotation schedule.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
