Here is a fabulous, all original 2^nd generation King Seiko from 1965. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Seiko logo and the script KS logo below the dial center. It has faceted black polished steel hour markers, double at 12 o’clock. There is a tiny mark at around the 8 o’clock hour marker. The faceted dauphine hands are in very fine condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, probably most notable at around 10 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and chunky, faceted lugs is in fine condition with light overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved gold shield KS medallion and is in fine condition with some overall waer. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Seiko’s high grade 4402A movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
