Here is a wonderful, all original Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox from 1967 in a very large size for the era. The silver sunburst outer dial is in very fine condition, with a black JLC logo at 12 o’clock and steel wedge hour markers with central black contrast. At the inner edge is a minute track with lume stripes for the hours. There are a few small spots around the outer dial, perhaps most notably at around the 8 and 10 o’clock hour markers. The inner radially brushed silver dial is in fine condition, with a lume filled steel triangle showing the alarm position and a few small marks of wear. It rotates to accurately set the alarm. The baton hands with the original lume and black contrast intact are in very fine condition. All lume is largely degraded. The black framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 22:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The alarm is set with the top crown. Winding the spring for the alarm is done by rotating the crown while fully depressed. By pulling the crown out one can rotate the inner dial to set the arrow at the desired alarm time. When the set time is reached the alarm buzzes loudly for about 15-20 seconds when fully wound. When the crown is in the outer position the alarm does not ring.

The stainless steel case with the original crowns and long, curved lugs is in fine condition with a few marks of wear on both the face and sides, perhaps most notable at around 4 and 6 o’clock on the “bezel”. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a brushed center and polished slope showing a few scratches and marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, LeCoultre’s high grade K825 bumper automatic movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
