Here is a fabulous, all original IWC Yacht Club from 1970. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel IWC block logo and the script IWC logo underneath. It has steel bar hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock, with the characteristic steel spheres for the minutes. There’s a scuff on the dial at the 19 minute hour marker. The baton hands with the original lume and black contrast are in fine condition with some corrosion visible under magnification. The window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 23:45 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The wide stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most notably at around 1 o’clock. The C shaped stainless steel case with the original fish crown is in fine condition with a few marks on the face and on the sides, most notable a couple of nicks on the right side. The stainless steel case back is in good condition with some marks and scratches, in particular around the edge. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original IWC buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, IWC’s superb 8541B movement with the Pellaton winding system beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
