Here is an awesome, all original IWC dress watch from 1985. The silver linen dial is in fine condition, with a black IWC script logo and black Roman numeral hour markers. There is some wear along the edge of the dial at around 11-1 o’clock. The black stick hands are in very fine condition. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand in order to keep the profile slim.

The stainless steel watch face/bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most notably a nick at around 3 o’clock. The TV shaped stainless steel case with the original crown and integrated lugs is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The case back has a brushed pattern and is in fine condition with a few marks. It has an engraving showing the watch was originally presented as a work award. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original IWC buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, IWC’s high grade caliber 423 beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

As dress watches go, this on offers something out of the ordinary, with the wonderful dial and TV shape case. It looks spectacular on the wrist and is perfect for those special occasions or as part of a regular rotation schedule.
